I began
my jewelry career in 1982 in Boise, Idaho. I worked for a fine
jeweler who had six or seven wholesale repair accounts and so
repair became my focus for the first several years.
As I worked for other jewelers through the years in several different states, I took on thousands of repairs and custom jobs which enabled me to learn about all types of precious metals and stones, as well as how to work with them. As our skills as jewelers improve, the work becomes easier, producing cleaner, more refined jewelry.
I offer a full service jewelry store that includes: repair, custom design, all types of stone setting (yes, even nice, clean bead setting and pave′), wax carving, and casting on-site. I can reproduce almost any piece and I have worked on a wide array of estate jewelry. An estate piece requires more expertise because several jewelers may have worked on it using different techniques that need to be studied before “tackling” the piece.
I am well versed in both traditional and contemporary designs as a look through my portfolio will reflect. We also pride ourselves on having keen skills with respect to the selection and purchase of colored stones. We love gemstones!
